Join the Midlands Military And Community Choir

The Midlands Military And Community Choir was the brainchild of the Royal British Legion and The Birmingham Bach Choir and was created to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.

Over the last 24 months the choir has recruited singers both with Forces connections (Serving, Cadets, Veterans, Reservists etc) and those from the civilian community.

The idea of this Military and Community Choir is to bring people together to have fun, make friends and create great music both at rehearsals and through concerts at various venues.

A new look for the Armed Forces Covenant

Today, the Armed Forces Covenant unveils its new branding.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation, ensuring that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly. The Covenant is a national responsibility and the Government is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for the Armed Forces community by working with a range of delivery partners including businesses, local authorities, charities and the public.

Businesses and local authorities who wish to support the Armed Forces community can sign the Covenant, and publicly declare their commitments.
